Coming up with the perfect A4 landscape brochures for tourists again and again can be hard. It makes sense to try and find a winning formula you can repeat to great effect. But where to begin? Here are three top tips to help you get going.
Think big, think bold
You want your brochure to stand out and the best way of doing this is to ensure the heading you use is eye-catching, big and bold. Play around with fonts and type size, as well as colour. And make sure the writing is top quality as well!
Positioning
It’s also important to make sure that you put your heading at the very top of the brochure. Think about where they’re most likely to be distributed. You’ll probably see them on a rack along with lots of other leaflets and the heading is the only thing people will see first of all – so it’s got to be right.
The details
Keep your design as simple as you can and make sure all relevant details are included, such as contact details and addresses. Include a map if you can, but make sure it’s big enough for people to read and follow properly. Also avoid including information that’s likely to change, such as opening hours and prices.
Recent research from Bentley University’s Center For Marketing Technology revealed that tourists and visitors still place high value on printed brochures, with seven out of ten picking them up at their travel destination… so as you can see, it’s important that you do get it right!
