Designing and producing highly effective portrait A4 brochures is in large part all about finding the right words for describing your goods and services. Consumers are constantly bombarded with advertising and information so making sure yours stands out is quite clearly a must.
It’s all about buzzwords and working out which ones are the best for you to use so you catch people’s attention and also make it clear immediately what it is you’re marketing.
A call to action is a must no matter what you’re planning on having printed. This will really encourage people to get in touch, either by phone, email or your social media channels. Something simple and snappy always works well, something like ‘Talk to Us’ or ‘Share Your Stories’.
Another more obvious idea would be to include an offer of some sort, a tried and tested way of increasing conversions. If you’ve got something people want, your call to action doesn’t even have to be particularly exciting or even that inspired… consumers will do it regardless if your offer is appealing enough.
When thinking of your own calls to action, try to include encouragement for people to respond immediately. If you give them time to think about it, chances are they won’t go through with it. It might also be advisable to include a no obligation statement or offer, like a free trial instead of a purchase, so that people aren’t taking a risk… which should give them enough confidence to spend money later down the line.
